Derbyshire has children's centres across the county.
These provide a range of services to children under 5 and their families.
This includes the provision of early years education with day care in some centres as well as a range of services including family support, health access and links to Jobcentre Plus, training and adult education.
Extended services - childcare
Many schools now offer before and after school activities for which there is a small charge. This can either be delivered by the school or by a partner organisation.
